Partisan fighter monumentThe monumental monument, dedicated to the fighters and national heroes, sons and daughters of Montenegro who perished during the National Liberation War (NOR) from 1941 to 1945, is located on Gorica Hill.

The city on the right bank of Moracha river„Preko Morače" is a neighborhood in Podgorica. The name of the neighborhood originates from its position in relation to the city center, which is located on the other side of the Morača River.

Old townThe Old Town, with its urban and architectural forms, customs, lifestyle and oriental characteristics, was a core of the old Podgorica in the period of Ottoman Empire (1474 – 1879).
